The major aeronautical companies in the Bordeaux and Aquitaine region, such as Dassault, Thales, Safran and Sabena technics, supported the creation of AEROCAMPUS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, realising that this campus could meet their needs in terms of training, but could also accommodate trainees, apprentices and people in training. AEROCAMPUS Nouvelle-Aquitaine thus brought together all the key players in the sector within its association: industrial companies, universities, the rectorate, the grandes écoles and training bodies.
AEROCAMPUS Nouvelle-Aquitaine is an association under the law of 1901 founded by the Aquitaine region, the Rectorat, the IUMM and the BAAS and made up of the main players in the aeronautical field. The Bureau and Board of Directors include training organisations (APAVE, AFPI, AFPA, etc.), manufacturers (BAAS, etc.), schools (ENAC, ISAE, etc.), universities (PRES de Bordeaux, INP, etc.) and local authorities.
