CQPM and PART 66 training conditions

CQPM training courses

Validation of blocks of skills:
The blocks of skills validated as part of CQPM/TPFP-type training courses are recognised by the professional branch and may be subject to partial or full validation depending on the candidate's acquired skills. In the event of partial validation, the blocks of skills acquired remain valid for a period defined by the reference framework, enabling a progressive accumulation of skills.

Equivalences and gateways:
Equivalences can be granted for skills already acquired (via VAE, professional experience or previous training), subject to validation by the certification panel. Our courses also offer gateways to other certifications (e.g. professional qualifications, National Education diplomas) or specialisation pathways in the aeronautical or industrial sector.

Pathways and job opportunities:

Pathways are available to higher-level training (e.g. BTS Aeronautics, professional licences in industrialisation or aeronautical maintenance), or to additional certifications (e.g. CQPM in machining or non-destructive testing).

Methods used

The teaching methods used are based on a skills-based approach, combining:

  • Active teaching: Placement in professional situations (simulations, case studies, concrete projects).
  • Alternating theory/practice: classroom-based technical courses and direct applications in workshops or industrial environments.
  • Individualisation: Adaptation of courses to suit prerequisites and learning pace (optional modules, tutoring).
  • Digital tools: Use of industry-specific software (e.g. CATIA for design; simulator) and multimedia support (videos, interactive quizzes).
  • Collaboration with companies: Presentations by professionals, visits to industrial sites, and immersion in a professional environment.

Assessment methods

Assessments are formative and certificative, in accordance with the requirements of the CQPM reference document:

  • Formative assessments:
    • Quizzes and exercises during training to validate the acquisition of knowledge.
    • Self-assessments and individualised feedback to adjust courses.
  • Certificatory assessments:
    • Professional placement: Completion of a practical task or project, assessed by a panel (trainers + professionals).
    • Professional portfolio: Presentation of a portfolio of evidence (reports, technical sheets, work placement certificates).
    • Technical interview: Discussion with the panel to validate mastery of key skills.
  • Final validation:
    • Issuing of the CQPM after validation of all the skill blocks by the joint panel.
    • In the event of partial validation, a skills booklet is issued, specifying the blocks acquired and those still to be validated.
