On AEROCAMPUS Education, we train future mechanics and technicians in aeronautical maintenance. If you want to become an expert in light aircraft maintenance (less than 2 tonnes, non-pressurised & piston engines), the BAC PRO General Aviation is for you!
Accessible after 3ème, a CAP or post-BAC, this programme enables you to acquire solid skills in engines, avionics and aircraft structures (wood, canvas, metal, composite), while complying with strict safety standards.
The aviation industry is booming, with an increasing demand for specialist mechanics. Thanks to the rise of flying schools, air taxis and private owners, you'll find plenty of opportunities in approved maintenance workshops, flying clubs, maintenance companies, or even as a freelancer for the most experienced professionals.
Innovation is at the heart of the sector, with revolutions such as electric aircraft and green fuels opening up exciting new perspectives for those who want to combine technology and ecology. After the BAC PRO, you can continue your studies with an Aeronautics BTS and progress to positions of responsibility, such as workshop manager or approved expert, with motivating salary prospects and a dynamic career in aeronautics.
