A strategic partnership to propel aeronautical MRO in Morocco

AEROCAMPUS Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the International University of Rabat (UIR) are formalising a major partnership. The collaboration, spearheaded by Anne-Catherine Guitard, Managing Director of AEROCAMPUS, and Noureddine Mouaddib, President of UIR, aims to provide a lasting structure for the MRO training sector in Morocco.

Building an international skills hub

This partnership is not just about cooperation; it's about genuine engineering for the transfer of know-how to meet the sector's industrial challenges. The ambition is to position Morocco as a regional reference hub for aeronautical maintenance.

The pillars of the future MRO Campus in Casablanca

The project is built around major technological and regulatory axes to guarantee the excellence of future talent:

  • EASA PART compliance: structuring a training centre incorporating the highest European regulatory standards.

  • MRO expertise (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul): deployment of specialised courses aligned with the real needs of manufacturers.

  • Innovation & Digitalisation : Integration of cutting-edge modules in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity applied to aeronautics.

  • Immersive Pedagogy: provision of innovative technical resources reproducing real hangar conditions.

  • Trainer training: support for local teaching teams in mastering RTAP environments.

Management's vision: Sustainable Franco-Moroccan cooperation

For Anne-Catherine Guitard, this project is a demonstration of AEROCAMPUS Nouvelle-Aquitaine's export expertise. By joining forces with UIR, the Campus is playing an active role in the employability of young people and strengthening the Moroccan aerospace ecosystem.

"Thanks to the commitment of the teams and the confidence of Midparc, this future MRO Campus in Casablanca is becoming the symbol of a shared aerospace future between our two countries."
